The longer I would search for words to make Alaina feel better, the more speechless I became. There came a time when actions were the best way to show love. A simple hug, a trip to the park or even a meal at her favorite Bojangles on the way to her treatment.
The actions were beyond what the tongue could speak. Continue reading I Love You More Than the Tongue Can Speak
God didn’t design us to all be alike. To think alike.
To act alike. Create room in your heart this Christmas for those who are different from you. Continue reading How Do You Decorate Your Gingerbread House?
We bring expectations to so many areas of our lives. Our relationships, our work, our faith, even our experience of Christmas. Subtle checklists of what should be – how it should look and feel – that can sometimes get in the way of seeing the gifts right in front of us. Continue reading Great Expectations
Believe the truth of what God says about you. Let it drown out the other voices in your head. You are made in the image of God – beautiful, beloved, whole. You are loved with an everlasting love. You are more than enough. Continue reading Believe You are Enough
We all need a friend to help us up, not if, but when, we fall. Continue reading Are You a Good Friend?
